Vijay Jadhav, Director of National Film Archives of India passes away

Shimla--Ram Subhag Singh, Secretary (I&PR) has expressed grief over the sad and sudden demise of Vijay Jadhav, Director of National Film Archives of India at Pune today.

In his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family members, Shri Ram Subhag Singh has prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul.

He said that Shri Jadhav had been instrumental in organising the first film festival at Shimla in 2009 and first ever Film Appreciation Course at Shimla held under the aegis of I&PR at Shimla in 2009.

Shri B.D. Sharma, Director, I&PR also expressed grief over the death of Shri Vijay Jadhav and conveyed sympathies with the family members of the departed soul. The officers and officials of the Department had a condolence meeting for the pace of departed soul.
